Thing is, at €200 a pop the whole V-Collection is only another €300.

It does, thank you! Guess I’ll take a gander with the demo.

I deffo recommend trying the demo for yourself and letting me know your thoughts. The demo of Synthi is restricted to 20 mins (per session) of play time and you can't save any sounds you make, but it's enough for me to think I need to make this my next purchase. First impressions were, therefore, compromised by this problem and I didn't give it another look until recently, where I bought a bunch of preset packs and it now sounds so unique in terms of what it's capable of sounding like it's like a brand new synth/toy. IVCS3 is also great, but more daunting for me as I've had this since before I upgraded my ipad to a pro version a year or so ago and originally had a bit bother with the pops and crackles my under-powered ipad4 suffered from. But I've also been happy to do loads of knob-twiddling as well, which has resulted in me creating a lot of my own sounds for once, and that's the thing that's got me raving about Synthi. Stop creating the mindset for the cheapest price possible and maybe this will not happen so often. As someone not usually drawn to making my own sounds and don't deviate too far from presets (apart from huge dollops of reverb with everything.just being honest) those that come with Arturia's gem of a plugin are all great so far, and there's a lot of them, so you have a great deal of variation out of the box. If we want these mindsets to change then I hope we are all ready to take on the daily injustices of the companies that really have an effect on these ways of thinking. EMS will continue to make small batches of synths at their current price point to the few that can afford it. I think we live in a very dark age of selfish users personally, parasites and schemers and dominant businesses who really only care about their business profit margin and people seem to love them.,īehringers just a cult really of cheap consumers with a massive ego maniac running things it would seem, its a bit creepy in all honesty how patheticallyĬult follower like people became without question for one minute the ethics.Ĭapitalism much? While I agree I also hope that no one who cries about this also shops at Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc. This and their handling of the Microfreak credit has made up my mind.īad news is it would appear that looking on most forums 98% of gear heads have zero ethics now toward rip off manufacturers and would sell their soul for anything if it was cheap and had 2 x osc and will support the Parasites The good news is we get to pick and choose which greedy corporations we purchase from. Some companies would probably benefit from being more fair to those they take credit from in order to succeed.
